Restorative Yoga
Service Description
This restorative yoga class is a slow-paced, gentle practice focused on deep relaxation and rejuvenation designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, or the "rest and digest" state, which helps the body conserve energy and lowers the heart rate. This class uses props - such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks - to fully support the body in comfortable, low-intensity postures that are held for an extended time. This supported approach helps release deep-seated physical and mental tension, which can lead to improved flexibility, better sleep quality, and a profound sense of calm and well-being.
