Frequently asked questions
Drop ins are always welcome! Feel free to come in for any class and we will get you registered in person, or sign up through the Schedule page and during checkout toggle away from the unlimited membership recommendation and select the single drop in rate of $25.
Scheduling in advance ensures your space in class, but you are always welcome to simply show up in the studio 5 minutes before class and we can register you then.
While you’re welcome to take any class, most beginners find the Restorative Yoga classes incredibly accessible. Vinyasa classes are designed for all levels, simply let your teacher know you are new to the practice. After you feel more comfortable, Hatha Flow & Align and Morning Fire will be there to deepen your practice.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely and possibly sweat in! We are still on Vashon, so certainly no high-end fashion show - wear what brings you joy.
Please bring a water bottle and a mat if you have one! We have mats you can borrow and a filtered water station.
Please remove your shoes and leave them on our shoe rack when entering the practice space.

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind in our studios.

We love kids and if they absolutely need to come with you, they are welcome to sit quietly in the studio.
Modern media has created a perfect image of perfect bodies flowing seamlessly in space and calling it yoga. We reject this "perfect" image and instead believe that yoga is lovingly exploring where we are and how we're doing. Our teachers and members are compassionate individuals who will support you on your journey. We have all been new before and yoga asana can be challenging. You can do this! We will be excited to welcome you in, the beginner mind is a gift.
